About

The Norris-Vincent College of Business offers both undergraduate and master’s level degree programs in business through the Department of Accounting, Economics, and Finance or the Department of Management and Marketing. In addition, the College offers the opportunity for ASU students with any major to participate in an award-winning US Air Force ROTC program through the Department of Aerospace Studies.

ASU Small Business Development Center

The ASU Small Business Development Center (SBDC) plays a crucial role in fostering the growth and success of small businesses in the 10-county region surrounding San Angelo which comprises its service area. The SBDC also provides opportunities for ASU business students to attain real world experience working with SBDC clients to launch or improve their small business.

Center for Student Success

The College of Business created the Center for Student Success as part of a university-wide initiative to promote student success by providing better service to our students. CSS staff advisors are more than just academic advisors; they also offer valuable advice about all campus services and resources available to College of Business students.

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree program provides an educational emphasis on leadership, offers a broad perspective of business, and is designed to develop and enhance the business skills and knowledge that are valuable to managers, executives, and administrators. The interdisciplinary program includes coursework in accounting, marketing, management, finance, economics, the legal and social environment of business, data analytics, and management information systems. International business and business ethics are integrated throughout the program.

The MBA is a total of 30 credit hours and can be completed in as little as one year. The program is interdisciplinary and consists of coursework in accounting, marketing, management, finance, economics, the legal and social environment of business, data analytics, and management information systems. MBA with Specialization in Healthcare Management

The MBA may also be completed with a specialization in Healthcare Management. This specialization is designed to develop and enhance business knowledge and skills that are appropriate for healthcare executives, administrators, and managers in public or private healthcare organizations. In addition to the business knowledge and skills covered in the standard MBA program, this specialization offers additional training in the following areas:

Legal and ethical aspects of healthcare Healthcare financial management Healthcare operations Healthcare communications in a diverse workplace.

This program is a total of 36 credit hours and can be completed in as little as 14 months. Healthcare Specialization courses (12 credit hours) are offered in a face-to-face/hybrid format in the fall/spring (16-week terms). Students pursuing this specialization must be able to attend class at the Norris-Vincent College of Business. Starting in Spring 2020, this specialization will also offer a 100% online option.
