École de Condé

Introduction

Founded in 1989, École de Condé is one of the largest design school in France, which gathers 2,000 students spread over 5 campuses located in Paris, Lyon, Bordeaux, Nancy, and Nice. École de Condé offers specialized programs in all the fields of design (graphic, interior, fashion, and product), graphic arts (illustration, animation, and photography) and cultural heritage (restoration, art market) at bachelor level as well as master level. The school delivers either State diplomas (bachelors) or diplomas accredited by the Commission Nationale de la Certification Professionnelle, the governmental body in charge of diplomas recognition, up to the level I (highest accreditation level). In addition to National accreditations, École de Condé is part of the ERASMUS+ program and receives the accreditation from the private European accreditation body EABHES. Each campus offers first-class city-centers facilities equipped with modern design laboratories. The proximity with the cultural highlights in either Paris, Lyon, Bordeaux, Nancy or Nice is an important asset for students wishing to discover the most vibrant and contemporary aspects of the French culture and the French creative scene. École de Condé is part of the academic partnership AD Education together with École Supérieure du Parfum, École Supérieure de Publicité, École Supérieure du Digital(www.ecole-superieure-du-digital.com)and IAAD Torino. The AD Education network brings together Ecole de Conde, IAAD Torino and Ecole Superieure du Parfum. Together, these schools have developed high-level training programs focused on creative endeavors. Academic governance, the abundance of courses and majors, our partnerships with the business sector and international focus open a world of possibilities. They reinforce, each to their respective level, the relevance, and originality of each school’s academic approach. Other French and international institutions will join AD Education in the near future. Ecole de Condé’s creative incubator allows postgraduate students to continue to benefit from school infrastructures for one year. The incubator can be used in several ways:

  • As a chamber towards vocational integration
  • To set up a research project
  • To finalize a creative project

In this framework, students can use various school infrastructures:

  • Academic infrastructures: photo studio, library, fab lab, fashion lab, serigraphy lab, etc.
  • Vocational workshops: computer graphics, web design, etc.
  • Professional tutoring

The incubator is available for Ecole de Conde’s postgraduate students.
