The Global MBA in Supercars, Superbikes and Motorsports blends theory with experience, thanks to our academic excellence and the exclusive expertise of firms like Alpha Tauri, Dallara, Ducati, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Marelli and Maserati.
Thanks to our corporate partners we are able to offer dedicated scholarships (in addition to those offered by the School) to outstanding candidates with strong motivation to work in this industry. Moreover, our cooperation with motor companies includes class thought by manager and professionals, company visits, clinics, project works, internships and Global MBA dedicated job opportunities.
The Global MBA Supercars, Superbikes and Motorsports is a 12 month full-time program, taught in English.
During the first term, class activities will focus on general management, while starting from the second term, participants will study specialized subjects regarding Supercars, Superbikes and Motorsports. The program is complete when students complete a 500 hour internship. The internship will help students to improve their problem solving skills, apply their newly developed knowledge as well as give them the opportunity to face actual situations that arise within the business world.
Our programs provide an exciting and fulfilling learning experience by offering optimal class sizes, by integrating real-life case studies, as well as by providing students with the opportunity become a part of the BBS community.
Curriculum
The Global MBA is a 12-month full-time program including:
- 440 hours of class activities
- hours of individual and group work
- 500-hour internship
The academic year is divided into three terms:
I Term: September 2024 – December 2024

GMBA Modules are divided into four blocks:
- Orientation Modules
Statistics, Finance, Accounting, and Management Consulting
- General Management Courses:
Corporate Finance, Corporate Strategy, Performance Management, Marketing Management, People Management, Geoeconomic and Geopolitical Analysis, Operations and Supply Chain Management, Business Planning
- Track-specific Courses:
Business Strategy for Supercar and Superbike Companies, Racing Team Management, New Product Development in the Motorsport Industry, One Customer Experience, Capstone Project
- Professional Development Clinics:
Business Ethics, Leadership Mindset, Diversity and Inclusion, Digital Technologies and AI

The three terms are followed by an internship period of 500 working hours. The internship can be carried out at various companies and agencies in Italy or abroad. The internship serves as an opportunity for students to put into practice the theory and techniques learned during the three academic terms. The internship will allow students to obtain hands-on experience by working on management strategies, analyzing business operations, and creating solutions to real problems. Students are encouraged to make the most of the internship opportunity and to learn from the professionals they will be working with.
At the end of the internship students will be required to submit a ‘Final Report’, which they will present to the Director of Studies showcasing their activities and analyzing the theories and lessons learned during the program.
An extracurricular Italian language course is also available for interested students.

Scholarships and Funding
Bologna Business School offers both full and partial scholarships for participants of the MBA. All applicants are eligible to apply regardless of their nationality. Scholarships are merit-based (both academic as well as professional merit) and cover tuition costs only.
The Global MBA offers scholarships of:
- 35,000 euro (full scholarship)
- 20,000 euro (partial scholarship)
- 15,000 euro (partial scholarship)
- 10,000 euro (partial scholarship)
Africa scholarship program
Bologna business school grants the africa scholarship program for the academic. This program aims to facilitate the participation of young bright talents from africa wishing to pursue an mba and contribute to the social and economic development of their continent.

The Career Office of the Global MBA program is crucial for students pursuing a career in the field of business. It connects students to opportunities, offers tailored support, and taps into a global network of alumni and professionals. This assistance helps students navigate international job markets, boosting their employability and maximizing the value of their Global MBA.
The goal of the Career Service, coordinated by Andrea Zani (Head of Career Service), with the support of Alessandro Bonfiglioli (Executive Career Development Advisor), is to provide the tools and resources to gain access to the labor market and find an internship. The aim is also to support the businesses of our territory, and not limited to it, to select talents to employ; talents from all over the world, who come to Bologna to immerse themselves in the culture and the excellence of Made in Italy.
The Career Service Team supports the students in their journey made of learning and professional development, through a series of seminars, with the aim of providing the necessary tools and resources to gain access to leadership positions in the labor market. Furthermore, thanks to professional career counselors and a process to identify one’s own “Strengths” (Point Positive Assessment) developed in collaboration with Essentic, students are supported by way of a customized service to establish a professional development plan, which will help them achieve their goals in their search for an internship.
