Curriculum
12 immersive months
Our 12-month programme is intense and fast-paced. With international travel, unlimited coaching, in-depth work with leading companies and a peer group from a wide range of different industry sectors and cultures, you will grow both personally and academically.
Our Full-time MBA study programme features eight required modules designed to provide you with a solid foundation in management, business, leadership. We have integrated social and environmental sustainability across required modules, allowing you to address this complex, multidimensional subject from different angles depending on the discipline in which it is contextualised. In addition, you will choose four elective modules from a wide choice to customise your MBA and achieve your aims. To support you in gaining international experience, one of your four elective modules will be a required overseas module. Finally, to consolidate everything you have learnt throughout the year, you will have the choice to undertake either a strategic consulting project, an internship or traditional dissertation.
During your year with us and beyond, we will support and motivate you, as well as push, critique and challenge you to bring out your inner Change Maker.

Scholarships and Funding
When and how to pay
To secure your place on the course you must lodge a £2,500 deposit with us within four weeks of receiving your offer. The deposit is part of the total fee, not an additional cost. Read more about how to pay at the University's finance pages. By paying the deposit you are agreeing to the University of Warwick refund policy which can be viewed here.
You can pay your tuition fee in a lump sum at the start of the academic year or can opt to pay in instalments with the following payment schedule:
- 50% of tuition fees due on the first day of your academic year
- 25% of tuition fees due on first day of month 4 of your academic year
- 25% of tuition fees due on first day of month 7 of your academic year
Financing your MBA
Choosing to complete an MBA either full or part-time requires significant investment both in terms of cost and time. To support this investment, various funding sources are available. The sources set out below are those which have been brought to the attention of the University as being specifically designed for/aimed at MBA students. They are not exhaustive - other funding sources and products may be available. The University does not specifically recommend or endorse these sources/products and the content set out below has been provided by the relevant funding provider and is not independently verified by the University. Students should consider sources and types of funding carefully and ensure that it meets their precise needs - not all funding is appropriate for all students.
Available scholarships
A number of scholarships are available to self-funding students admitted onto the Warwick Full-time MBA. This is to promote gender, geographic and sector diversity, alongside recognition for academic and professional excellence. WBS scholarships are highly competitive and awarded on the basis of three broad criteria:
- Demonstration of significant past and recent academic ability including high GMAT, GRE or Warwick Test performance
- Strong evidence of career progression and future career potential
- The ability to fulfil future ambassadorial duties for the school.
Successful applicants would be expected to work closely with the marketing and recruitment teams in order to attract future candidates onto the programme. The scholarships available are up to 50% of fees, but in truly exceptional cases can be more. Scholarships are allocated in the following areas:

Applying for a scholarship
If you are self-funded and are interested in applying for a scholarship you should write a separate essay (up to 500 words) outlining why you believe you should be awarded a scholarship. You don’t need to specify which scholarship you wish to apply for as the committee will consider which scholarship would be most suitable.
The scholarship committee will decide on scholarship awards on an ongoing basis during the recruitment cycle, but applicants are strongly encouraged to apply early. For deadline dates, visit our apply page.

You must be intellectually outstanding and display strong interpersonal and communication skills, motivation, creativity, maturity, drive, and leadership qualities. You must also have proven academic ability, the ability to work effectively in a team, the desire to learn, and the potential to succeed.
Experience
We require you to have at least three years’ postgraduate professional business experience.
Academic record
You will have an upper second class honours at undergraduate level from a UK university or the equivalent from an overseas university. We also welcome applications from candidates who do not have the academic qualifications but are exceptional, with a proven ability to achieve.
GMAT, GRE and the Warwick Test
Generally you will need a well-balanced GMAT score or a valid GRE score. Our current GMAT average is 660. The Warwick Test may be available as an alternative for certain candidates, dependent upon circumstances.

Engage with the business world
We believe in giving our MBA participants practical experiences in which they can apply their learning. So, you will have two opportunities during your MBA to work on client-based projects, enabling you to develop your practical consultancy, stakeholder management and influencing skills through direct experience.
Study overseas
To develop your global citizenship and broaden your horizons, one of your four electives will be a required overseas module at one of our partner institutions. These modules are all bespoke and designed specifically for WBS students, covering areas such as sustainability and digital innovation.
In addition, through our Partnership in International Management (PIM) membership, you will have the opportunity to participate in a competitive process to extend your studies at an overseas business school for a period of up to four months after completing your Full-time MBA.
